Blue Harbor Moon
How can you leave me so soon
Even as the blue blue harbor moon
Above keeps its warm night light aglow
Only to watch over us here below
What more can I say What can I do
So that you’ll stay till night is through
You see, a birdie once told me at break of day
Only morning dreams come true
So if you decide you must now be gone
Remember the truth will not then be shown
For if we dream apart we will dream alone
But if you stay we’ll soon come to know
That what a birdie once told me is so
Don’t you know how I long to hear you say
“Here by your side tonight I will stay.”
Under the stars which come to guide our way
As the moon light grows stronger
But don’t let me or him change your plan
If you go we will try to understand
But if you leave then please leave as you go
A promise to come back soon
For though he and I so want you to stay
Don’t let us a moment longer delay, no
We will both keep our hearts held at bay
As me and the moon watch you go away
From me and the blue......blue.......
